In today’s blog post, we are talking checks! There’s no way to deny the check pattern coat trend when we’re talking autumn outerwear. It can be a bit tricky to style though, so today we are doing a style guide and show you how to rock the checked coat for a casual-cool Autumn outfit. One of our favourite things about the checked coat is the versatility of it. It is perfect as a classic on-the-way-to-work coat but can also be dressed down for a more casual-cool weekend look. No matter what, it really adds some character to your outfit. The check pattern has influenced the fashion scene for quite some time and comes in a variety of colours, shapes and sizes. The coloured checks can add a bold touch to any look, whereas the classic more subtle checks add an exclusive elegance. If you’re going for the classic look, pair it with a pair of mid-calf or long-calf skin boots, a simple midi dress and an elegant wool scarf. You can’t say Autumn without saying layers. The chilly weather and light layers are an undeniable Autumn duo.
